knowledge and exposure to creative and sustainble sourcing strategies
About me / About business or organisation:
I am a professional with in the fashion industry, interested in promoting and incorporating, in my own work as well as that of others, sustainable textiles and manufacturing.
Career history / Company history:
I have a BFA in apparel design from the Rhode Island School of Design and 7 years of industry experience. I have worked in New York and Italy for the likes of Lutz and Patmos and Ferragamo. For 5 years I dedicated myself to working with, coolchange, a start-up beachwear company developing and expanding their women's, children's and home collections. Currently, I am taking the steps to focus my skills and career on issues of sustainability within design and manufacturing; I, have worked with Earthpledge, a non-profit, promoting and developing their sustainable textile library and recently began my own children's clothing line which incorporates sustainably sourced textiles.
