Hi Johanna, I think I can demonstrate the effectiveness of a socially and ethically responsible business helping those in need.

Hi Johanna, I already apply a degree of social responsibility to fashion by creating awareness, using ethical and low carbon production/distribution, creating employment and profit-sharing with the low paid. I apply it to African and Asian countries but it can be transferred anywhere and even interlinked. If you look at the pics on my profile you'll see outfits at the 'tartans for africa' fashion show in various official tartans of African countries, designed by simply using the colours in their national flags. I also produce a pret-a-porter range and some 20 accessories. As from January 2010 cloth will be woven in Africa and goods made in each individual country. Imagine cloth in the colours of the Dominican Republic or even the Philadelphia Eagles being made into garments and accessories in the Dominican Republic for export. I know it sounds crazy but thats whats happening. The 49er's cloth has already been woven and sample garments are in San Francisco.. The project is being sponsored by the Archdiocese of San Francisco.
