Secondly, I received a great bit of post today from TraidCraft. I'm looking into becoming a TraidCraft Seller at markets. It is helping spread the idea of fairtrade and promoting their great products ( geobars are amazing with a cup of tea).  http://www.traidcraftshop.co.uk/

Thirdly! Oooh I am quite excited about tomorrow! I'm attending an exclusive event run by Semple Ltd with guest speaker Claire Wilcox fro the V&A.

Hello All!

I've been away for a while! Being a busy bee with new projects, internship, collaborations :)

If you are interested in gaining more knowledge of industry, in terms of business, technology and connections, you might want to join the Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) which is a "new platform, brought to you by the Technology Strategy Board, provides an effective and powerful way for you to collaborate online, network and share knowledge with other innovators"

There are different networks which may be relevant, like the Sustainable Industries , Creative Industries and Materials groups. https://ktn.innovateuk.org/web/guest/home

Another thing which I'd like to mention is the DIY educate programme at Cor Blimey Arts starting this spring, which is an "evolving education programme run by and for artists, curators and art professionals to encourage artistic development."

"All our workshops and talks will be led by a range of professional established artists, curators, arts practitioners, involving a wide range of arts organizations such as a-n and Artquest."
As a member, I will probably creating a group, but for now you can visit http://www.coregallery.co.uk/diy-educate/

Much love &  Gong hey fat cho! (Happy chinese new year!)

For anyone thats uses jean in their work, I just found this website relating to cotton for jeans. I espcially like it because it links quite nicely to Levi's sustainable development for reducing the amount of water used in their processes.
For both links, see below :)
