Fairtrade Gold

I am writing an article on fair-trade products within the fashion industry and interested to receive your comments regarding fair trade gold.  

For those who are jewellery designers would you be interested in using fairly sourced gold?  Would it make a difference if you new who had mined it? 

What certification/information would you require to ensure that it truly fair traded? 

For those who are consumers - would you consider purchasing fairly sourced gold versus the high street gold items you can purchase??

What would change your decision to not or do purchase fair trade gold?
