The Conference 'Embroidery...with Style' which includes a Fashion Show and Prize Giving and is being held in conjunction with the Glasgow Caledonian University and the Glasgow School of Art and is being held at the Glasgow Caledonian campus on Saturday 31st. October.

This Conference will be an opportunity to see how embroidery has been an integral part of these styles: from the first faltering steps of Fashion in the 14th Century, to modern day influence. It will, give a better understanding of the multiple ways embroidery designs can add dimension to a drawing developing a unique piece for the catwalk or the most exclusive interiors soft furnishings.

Accompanied by world known fashion experts - Francois Lesage, James Sherwood & Sir Tom Baker to name a few - Hand & Lock will decipher which essential ingredients are required to set a style. Our speakers will captivate the audience with stories of their own successes and experiences.
