Designer and Seamstress for the Heidala's sustainable clothing line.
Mission statement:
I believe that while fashion can be bought, style one must possess. On that note, finding one’s style is not about buying the newest trends or hottest designers; nor is it about snatching up the most expensive product. Instead it is about finding a way to feel great about the way you look and where your clothes come from. The Heidala's line offers a range of re-manufactured, re-constructed, recycled, and embellished clothing that express your originality and keep your environmental conscious clear. We use a “no new waste” business model, which means that while some newly manufactured products may be considered eco-friendly, we only use materials from the second hand market. This ensures that no new waste accumulates during the production process. The Heidala’s line deconstructs recycled clothing and mixes it with other discarded textiles to form one-of-a-kind garments that express ingenuity as well as a funky, independent style.
