Working experiences: Franco Francesca has lend his creativity also to several brand of international level like: Romeo Gigli, Cortigiani, Playboyclothing, Phard/ZU-elements, Roccobarocco, MarioValentino, Krizia, Lancetti.
I have been an Ethical Design since early 90'
and in November 2006 I presented the first eco wedding dress in the world made with fabric from corn (INGEO ) at the International Forum on Agriculture in Como-Italy.
INGEO from the greek "natural ingredients from the earth" is the first synthetic fiber in the world (launched in 2003). Derived from 100% Corn has the same benefits of synthetic fibers derived from petroleum. With a fermentation process to turn plant sugars (corn in this case) into lactic acid and then polymerizes to them to get fiber
Since then I have exhibited my eco-collections in several bride-fashion venues.
My collections have a positive declaration of the state of the women in the society. It is not only directed to the young but also to a market of more adult women!!
I am currently dressing MissUniverse Italy to promote the Ethical-Eco Concept!!!
