Pippa Small's Afghan Turquoise Mount Project Jewellery Collection now available at Leblas

Leblas is the new stockist for Pippa Small Jewellery

Now stocking the Afghan Turquoise Mountain Project jewellery collection

Leblas ethical fine jewellery is the new stockist for renown anthropologist and ambassador of Suvival International Pippa Small and her Afghan Turquoise Mount Project jewellery collection. The collection is inspired by different traditional techniques and designs from around Afghanistan.

These ornate designs are reminiscent of tribal torque necklaces decorated with smooth lapis pebbles, and charm bracelets embellished with uncut chunks of various gems. The rough matte finishing of the chains are gold-plated sterling silver, making them unique statement jewellery pieces. The beautiful stones used include: Deep Blue smooth Lapis Lazuli, Rough Ruby, Green Emeralds, Turqouise, Kyanite, and multicoloured Tourmalines, and rough Amethyst.

This exceptional collection emerged from a collaboration between Pippa Small and Afghan craftsman intended to help support the work started by the Turquoise Mountain projects, which include funding schools, improving independence in the community, and encouraging Afghan youth to learn skills in traditional crafts, such as jewellery, ceramics, woodwork, and calligraphy.

This collection is now available from Leblas' 149 Sloane Street boutique and from its online boutique.
