PeaceKeeper is encouraging women to learn about the Paycheck Fairness Act, which was originally sponsored by then Senator Hillary Clinton and Rep. Rosa Delauro, to strengthen the Equal Pay Act of 1963. This bill was passed by the House Representatives on January 9, 2009. It is now pending action in the Senate under Senator Christopher Dodd's sponsorship and seeks to help end wage discrimination. A vote is due later this month.
