Leblas Girls to attend Fashion Fusion Expo 2010!

Eagerly awating the first and biggest UK Sustainable Fashion event – Fashion Fusion Expo 2010 - the Leblas girls are extremely excited to be attending and can’t wait to get the lowdown on the newest and hottest trends in the world of ethical fashion. Taking place in a new location this year – The Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane in E1 – the event intends to bring and strengthen awareness of the importance of sustainable fashion, and the damaging effects that it can cause on the environment and in soceity. There will be plenty of catwalk shows, seminars, workshops, shopping, and opportunities to mingle and network your heart out!

This topic is very significant for Leblas Jewellery, as sustainability is the core focus of our brand. We use only 100% recycled gold and sterling silver, conflict free Canadian diamonds, and traceable semi-precious stones, because we understand the negative effects that mining has on the environment. By using only recycled metals, we know that we are helping to reduce the carbon footprint cause by excessive mining.

We are particularly looking forward to attending the “Expert Studio”, where industry stylist experts from fashion, lifestyle, and beauty will host talks and provide their expert advice. Our good friend Lupe Castro - Ethical Stylist Extraordinaire – will be hosting a seminar at 14:00 on Friday, March 12, and Tamsin Lejeune, director of one of our favorite networks “Ethical Fashion Forum” will be hosting a talk on March 13. Topic? “Joining the global fashion movement in the 21st Century”
