Introduction - BoBelle Fairly Traded Fashion Accessories

Dear all,

I just wanted to introduce myself to you all!

My name is Claire Watt-Smith and I am the founder of BoBelle, www.bobelle.co.uk, the supplier of fairly traded fashion accessories, all of which are hand made using eel skin leather. Eel skin leather is a by-product of the food industry in Korea where eels are extensively farmed for their meat and the skin is discarded. Please have a look at our photos to see our current ranges of handbags, purses, wallets and more.

BoBelle has grown from strength to strength and I am thrilled! As well as being awarded one of the Top 100 Entrepreneurs, I have had a concession in Topshop on Oxford Circus, as well as Our Eco Shop in Notting Hill. I have also just been awarded a Fellowship at the Royal Skociety of Arts, which is amazing!

We have started to wholesale our ranges, concentrating on Deep Purple, Light Grey, Midnight Blue and Ravishing Red for Autumn/Winter 09.

It would be great if anyone has any ideas on promoting BoBelle - how have you all done it? word of mouth is great for us, but we are wanting to get to the next level now! Please do let me know if you have any views.

Thanks very much,

Claire x
