Great prospect to join the ethical footwear brand Po-Zu as a Junior Brand Manager. Po-Zu has been making shoes since 2006 from carefully selected natural materials that are healthy for feet, safe for all workers throughout the supply chain, and kind to the environment. The brand has recently designed and launched a dual-branded range in collaboration with Timberland that is possibly the most sustainable shoe collection ever produced, as the product is not only biodegradable but also recyclable. Job Title Junior Brand Manager at Po-Zu / Brand Manager Assistant Job Description An opportunity has arisen to join this inspiring ethical brand. The applicant must demonstrate a keen interest in supporting sustainable practices in the footwear/ fashion trade. Working alongside the managing director, the successful candidate will help manage all commercial aspects of the brand in order to fulfil the brand’s vision and expand its market presence. Core Responsibilities Drive the business through key seasonal launches for wholesale. Communicate with and support international sales partners and merchandising, and identify market needs. Communicate with suppliers and factories to meet product development and production requirements. Organize trade-fair participations, and manage logistics. Update and maintain purchase order systems, and website content as needed. Plan seasonal critical paths, and manage operations to meet deadlines. Help run the day-to-day administrative and after sales service operations, including customer care. Desired Skills & Experience Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Business, Marketing, or Finance. Excellent communication skills, with good telephone manner. Excellent organizational skills, with overall business orientation. Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time. General knowledge of international wholesale and retail. Highly motivated self-starter, with an entrepreneurial spirit. Computer literacy with knowledge of using presentation and spreadsheet software tools. Salary will be offered according to experience.
