Ethical Fashion Label People Tree Launch Design Competition

Design a t-shirt graphic for the People Tree’s 2012 collection.

Fancy yourself as a fashion designer? Well, fair trade fashion label, the People Tree is giving you the opportunity to design a t-shirt graphic as part of their 2012 collection. The winning design will be put into production and printed on 100% fair trade and organic certified cotton.

The competition is taking inspiration from the 2012 Olympics, which unites countries from across the world with a common goal. The People Tree wants to promote a similar idea within the fashion industry with producers and customers working together to encourage more sustainable fashion.

To enter the competition all you need to do is follow the brief and come up with a design that includes the five key countries of People Tree – the UK, Japan, Bangladesh, India and Nepal, which encompasses the idea of being united globally through sport provides a better future. The design needs to include a maximum of five colours, four of which have to be yellow, green, black and red.

The closing date is 31st  August 2011, so pens and paint brushes at the ready and good luck.

For more information or to enter the competition send your designs to pr@peopletree.co.uk
