The Green Dress is a collaboration between London-based photographer David Yiu and Tel Aviv-based designer and Fellowship 500 member Johanne Bertaux-Strenna. The photographs above showcase an entirely sustainable dress made from pure cotton and recycled second hand garments from Chris Carey's Collections, in a bid to encourage fashion to do the "green" thing.
David started taking photographs when he was at university. Soon after graduating he went freelance and currently shoots a wide variety of images for different people and companies.
After graduating from London College of Fahsion, Johanne spent two years designing costumes for film, before reaching third place in the Red Carpet Green Dress competition. She has now moved to Tel Aviv to start work on her debut collection of conscious ethnical womenswear.
