The Beautiful think was launched in early December and is a multi-brand sustainable fashion online store. The Beautiful Think is a place where you can source beautiful, high quality garments that are made in an environmentally and socially responsible way.

You can shop by garment type, philosophy or designer, with each product featuring a nifty eco/ethical checklist so you know exactly what it stands for.

New Pop-up Store: Pants to poverty pop-up shop in London

The PANTS Christmas Pop up shop has opened in London, Sloane Square.

 

PANTS are stylish, fairtrade, organic and beautiful ranges of cotton underwear for men, women and children.

PANTS helps to alleviate poverty by working with 12,000 cotton farmers, supporting fairtrade, organic crop ownership. Manufacturing at the same time empowers 600 garment workers to earn a real living wage.

 

True to its roots, the Pants pop up shop is like no other outlet and takes customers on a journey across the rolling mountains and fertile river basins of Orissa, India. Showcasing Junky Styling, Katcha Bilek, Bag it Don't Bin it, Veleco, Pachacuti, Arthur and Henry and Caipora as guest brands, Pants to Poverty are making ethical Christmas shopping easy at Sloane Square.

More Stitching, less shopping was the message at the launch of Sew It Forward, the brainchild of Zoe Robinson, of sustainable fashion hub www.thegoodwardrobe.com. In the run up to UK’s busiest shopping day, some of the capital’s top fashion designers taught an audience of clothes lovers the secrets of the simple needle and thread, at the launch of a new initiative to get London sewing. We are starting to plan another event for the New Year. Henrietta Ludgate said she would love us to run another event at her workshop so hopefully we can arrange that. We would like to have an event for parents and children, encouraging them to teach one another, learn new skills together and encourage the younger generation to share their skills with their school friends...
