About me / About business or organisation:: Global Goods Partners (GGP) is a non-profit organization that creates economic opportunity for women in some of the worldʼs poorest communities by providing access to the US market for the fair trade, handmade products they produce. Working in partnership with women-led producer groups with
strong social missions, GGP provides technical assistance, product development, operational expertise and targeted capacity building grants to our community-based partners. With this support, GGP is empowering women to create sustainable change—advancing the health and well-being of their families and communities.

Career history / Company history:: GGP has long-term, established relationships with our artisan partners. We work with nearly
40 associations, cooperatives and social enterprises worldwide that integrate their commitment to community development—such as improvements in education, health, women's rights, and employment opportunities—
with socially responsible income-generating programs in craft development. We vet each organization to ensure that individual producers receive a fair living wage and work in safe and healthy conditions. In addition, to offering sustainable jobs and income, each of our partners must also demonstrate fiduciary responsibility
and the effective delivery of services, ranging from health, education, human rights, and vocational training programs to improve the long-term prospects of the women that they work with.
