Outlets for organic wool felt.

About me / About business or organisation:

I work with locally sourced wool to make felt. I attempt to keep mileage low to reduce carbon footprint. I prefer to use organic wool for this reason also. I make useful household items as well as wall hangings. May main business is in making a special felt coffin for natural burial - called the Leafshroud.

Career history / Company history:

Trained as a weaver at Bradford in 1984. Turned to felt making in 1988. Took my M.A. in textiles in 2007/8.
