About me / About business or organisation:

I have excellent hand drawing skills, and am extremely confident with Photoshop. I have an unique yet commercial appeal to my designs, with a versatile hand-writing. I am an expert in printed jersey tops, including designing prints for placements and repeats. I am extremely motivated and enthusiastic, and thrive under a fast paced environment. I am an intuitive trend spotter and have an excellent translation of designs from catwalk to high-street.

Career history / Company history:

My textile design experience includes 2 years for leading London fashion studio, Pattern Textiles, where I designed graphic tees and jersey dresses and tops for womenswear, designing and making around 30 designs every month. My work for Pattern sold to many high street and designer brands all across the world, including Oasis, Topshop and Custo. Whilst working for Pattern, I also worked as a trend writer for online fashion resource trendstop.com.

Over the past 6 months I have been setting up my own eco fashion label, but have decided that I would like to work for a fashion retailer for a minimum of 3-5 years before fully launching my brand. And so I am looking specifically for a design position within a fashion company that either supplies directly to the high street or is a high street retailer itself.
