my name is sonya loor algosaibi and together my sister silvia and dad jorge made studioloor with much love and care for our country of ecuador and to highlight the nature of a most unique place where we grew up.
we, at studioloor, feel that by designing a beautiful jewel that carries our cultural imprint; we are bringing people a little piece of Ecuador in each necklace, earring, ring and bracelet we make."

Career history / Company history:

..in our last collection "TAGUA ,THE OTHER IVORY ™, one of the materials we used is the nut of the tagua palm; a renewable plant that grows in Ecuador. we chose it because we like its natural attributes and, it brings us close to home; where it helps local farmers that harvest it.
