Pacificstream Information C.I.C. (a Community Interest Company) is a social enterprise based in Liverpool.
Pacificstream is committed to regional development, supporting regeneration projects and assisting with the development of sustainable social enterprises on Merseyside and the NW by:
* promoting the creative and digital content industries in the NW, with a particular focus on technological development and business support and;
* facilitating access to a range of European and UK-based research and development projects by members of both the business and education sectors.

Career history / Company history:
Personal Business Advisor for Creativebias, (MDA) Liverpool. Advising start-up creative companies including workshops on business development, one-to-one confidential advice and support for the Generator Business Start-up programme. Addition work with MDA included advisor and appraiser for Impetus, a development programme that supports high-growth companies by providing funds to eliminate blocks to their potential growth.
Project co-ordinator for the Liverpool and Manchester Design Initiative – duties included: managing the Liverpool office, business start-up advice and mentoring, advising designers, advocating good design and representing the Design Initiative at various meetings and events.
Business advisor and development for the International Centre for Digital Content, John Moores University. Working with SMEs in the IT industry and developing CPD programmes to support individuals and business growth.
Development of the creative industries for the city of Krasnoyarsk, Siberia. British Council project – ‘Creative Siberia’, consultant for the city council and advising on establishing a strategy in a region of post-industrial regeneration.
National coordinator for the Artist Teacher Scheme - a project established by the National Society for Education in Art and Design, supported by the Arts Council of England to provide opportunities for art teachers to review and develop their creative practice. Also to significantly improve standards of teaching and learning in art and design in schools and to complement and respond to national initiatives such as Creative Partnerships.
Mentor and advisor for the Arts Council of England Setting up Scheme in the Gt. Manchester area. Advising and supporting the creative and business development of several designer makers. Duties include reporting on progress, business planning and managing the e-Newsletter for the scheme.
