Shopanthropic is a Canadian ethical fashion label of women's accessories & gifts, working with artisans around the world to create pieces that are trendy and often, eco friendly.
Career history / Company history:
Shopanthropic is a Canadian ethical-fashion label, creating women's accessories & gifts that are eco-friendly and ethically made. We work with artisans in India, Nepal, Cambodia and Bangladesh, providing them with the training and resources needed help ensure they build sustainable micro-businesses. We attempt to source sustainable materials that are local to the region we work in, whenever we can. Our products are affordably priced, allowing all customers to shop ethical. We currently retail in select boutiques in the US, UK and Australia as well as on our website at www.shopanthropic.com.
We're proud to be a Fellowship 500 member with Ethical Fashion Forum (UK). We share our insights on the ethical fashion industry via our blog, guest blogging on other platforms (i.e. The Fashion Globe, LA Fashion etc.), speaking at conferences, and via social media outlets including Twitter (@enablechange).

Buying ethically doesn’t have to cost an arm and a leg.

One of the biggest qualms fashionistas have about ethical fashion is that it costs too much and that it isn’t affordable for the masses. Compared to the ultra-low price alternative of fast fashion, this is likely true. However, maybe our view on what is affordable and what isn’t is skewed in the first place.
