ways to branch out a bit more but keep this a unique business and also looking for some fans in the fashion world who would appreciate and understand what goes into making things by hand
About me / About business or organisation:
I am a breast cancer survivor who has always loved fashion and learned to knit. I decided the best way for me to get through this battle was to knit for a cause so I make cashmere fingerless gloves that are unique in that each and every pair are different and you can use your iphone or text in style and stay warm.
Career history / Company history:
I started in November 2009 and I now sell to 7 stores mostly ski resorts. I give 100% of my profit to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation because 90% of their funds go into research. I love creating something with a loop and string. It's the most relaxing way to escape and feel serenity. I was a literary agent 100 years ago then went for my MSW at NYU (love helping out people and I'm a good listener) and then got into knitting with a frenzy. It's a good way to tune out the kids and even the husband.(shhh!) It's a wonderful feeling being able to make money for an organization you believe in. I love what I do and having passion is feeding my soul
That's it folks!
