Hello !

My name is Moema Cavalcanti and I’m writing on behalf of a small designer handbag label based in London, Shoreditch, called My Green Bag (www.mygreenbag.co.uk).

My Green Bag is an up and coming designer label based in London, Shoreditch. We design and produce stylish satchels and rucksacks that are also sustainable- a message that we want to bring to the forefront of fashion. There’s often a stigma attached to eco-friendly fashion that simply isn’t fair.
We’re here to prove it can be both green and great!

We started out in 2011 and our handbags are hand-made from biodegradable and untreated materials, primarily jute and leather. Our products are made in the UK and our leather is sourced from here as well as the Middle East and parts of Asia. We’re very proud of the work we do here, and each handbag is unlike any other because of the intimate way it’s produced. Now, because of a new range of quirky signature pieces, we’re enjoying a soaring popularity but we want to extend our reach further and collaborate with people equally as enthusiastic as us about these products.

The company has been selling to individuals and small fashion retailers since 2011. Born from My Green Planet, a manufacturer and wholesaler of green fashion products and accessories, My Green Bag solely focuses on, you guessed it, handbags! Using our experience in the business, we have designed and produced a range of unique and hand made products for the modern day man and woman. We wanted our bags to be fashionable yet practical, something you would be proud to carry day after day.
