Career history / Company history:

With an eye on sustainability SHTOICA represents innovative and elegant solutions to our ever growing and changing world. It is founded by Mihaela, who lives and works in Nice.
Mihaela finds most of her inspiration in her life experiences and family history, as she grew up within a creative family with a mother who was also a designer. Opting for the same university as her, she studied Textiles, Leather and Industrial Management Faculty, in Iasi, and after she completed her studies with a master in Fashion, Fine Arts and Design.
During and after her time at University she worked as a freelancer, further refining her style and skills working as a textiles designer and working in fashion and accessories. Mihaela also took part in national design competitions where she placed in the top 10 in 2010.
As she evolved personally, discovering and growing, she realized the artist and the engineer within her needed to come together within her creative ambitions as a fashion designer and so SHTOICA was born. The natural direction of the brand is to find solutions by being innovative, offering versatile clothing and never letting go of intelligent and elemental beauty.
