About me / About business or organisation:

Hello - I am Michelle Maynard, the founder & designer of the eco conscious and sustainable womenswear label - Simone's Rose. I mostly work with organic, natural and vintage textiles. I started my label with the goal of creating something with meaning and hope! My label is named after my grandmother Simone, who loved to spend time working outdoors and adored her roses. Simone's Rose is my passion - as her roses were to her. With great care and attention I hope to build this business into something successful with value and integrity.

Career history / Company history:

Simone's Rose was started in February 2011. I have worked in the fashion industry for several years in positions from assistant to head designer. I also currently work at a local sewing studio as an instructor - teaching teens and tweens the magic of sewing.
