My primary role in relation to fashion is:
Designer
I am looking to discover or buy
All the information on sustainability and fashion that I can get my hands on. For my thesis, I focus on leather production in Marrakesh, local Sabra Silk production and 100% decradable material. I also look at possibilities of closed loop systems and desable design for a travel collection (bike friendly) that I am designing with ABURY. I have an interest on other social brands way of production and how they deal with resources, social standards and communication.
About me / About business or organisation:
I am 28 years old, brazilian, studing in a master program for the Sustainability in Fashion at ESMOD - Berlin. I am writing my thesis about social brand and creating a sustainable approach in a cradle-to-cradle philosophy: closed loop and biological cycle. I am doing a case study of the brand ABURY in Morocco, the intention is to find out about their production system and materials, and write a guide line for them to become a social and sustainable brand, using only local materials and cheriching tratitional artisans handcraft.
Career history / Company history:
I am graduated in fashion design in Brasil, in this time I had my own accessories label and worked with costume design. After graduating I worked as a freelancer and also thought in a fashion institute in Lima, Peru. Once I returned to Brasil, I worked as product manager in a kniting manufacture in Sao Paulo, that was when I decided to get my master degree in sustainability and fashion in Berlin.
