studio JUX is a multi award-winning eco fashion label from Amsterdam.

‘Jux’ comes from the German saying “Jux und Tollerei” which means having fun or making a joke. According to studio JUX, fashion should be fun: not just for the consumer, the retailer and the designer, but also for the tailors. We create beautiful, wearable and honest fashion with respect for people, planet and style.

studio JUX is characterised by minimalistic designs. It’s typical Dutch design made of stylish and innovative materials. With an eye for detail. The pieces always have a little twist like an unexpected colour detail or a special story. Try to find the hidden pockets!

studio JUX = eco
studio JUX is eco friendly. Apart from the usual stuff, like CO2 compensation and green electricity at our office, we’re devoted to only select sustainable materials. We use fabrics including certified organic cotton, hemp and recycled yarns. Buttons are made of natural materials or recycled, the hangtags are sustainable etc. And we’re always looking for new product innovations. The eco friendlier, the better.

studio JUX strongly supports good working conditions. We choose our production partners very carefully. And we specifically chose Nepal for the majority of our production, to create extra employment opportunities in one of the poorest countries in the world. We have even set up our own factory that currently employs 20 Nepali tailors. Together with Fair Wear Foundation, we make sure that all suppliers meet fair trade standards, including our own factory.
