Career history / Company history:

We are 2 partners venezuelan born, Maria Clara Caballero, and Daniela Vazquez-Figueroa, who after 2 years of brainstorming decided to start Shadki.
As the first ethical fashion brand in Venezuela things haven’t been so easy. Working with indigenous groups takes time and patience, yet it is one of the most rewarding experiences ever.
The second challenge is educating the local consumer on what “ethical fashion” means, and it’s value to our planet and our people.
