- I am a Paris based freelance textile designer and journalist. I run my own studio and my main activity as a designer is creating exclusive textile prints, weavings, trends, textile products for fashion and home with a specialization in handicrafts and ethnic fabrics.
I work for different brands and projects with an in-depth experience with Asia.
As an editor I am specialized in design and textile crafts. I am a contributor for online magazines such as Maison d'Exceptions.
I have developped a personal digital documentary Tissus & Artisans du Monde, an online video-photo travelogue featuring textile stories and portraits of artisans with exceptional craft traditions from all over the world.
- Career history / Company history:
- I have graduated at l'Ecole Nationale des Arts Décoratifs Paris in 2006 in Textile design. I have worked since then as a textile designer and started my career as a print designer for Kenzo on linen, lingerie and scarves collections.
After that I have worked freelance for various projects, including collaborations with an ethical silk handicraft company in Cambodia.
Since October 2013, i am a part of a non-profit association called Ateliers Monde, devoted to promote crafts from France and from the world, emphasizing on the quality and time over quantity, through documentaries, films, events and design collaborations.
