Took over the underperforming nightwear and lingerie departments in Feb 1997, restructured the department with the merchandiser to reduce options and price points. Reduced markdown spend from 50% to 23% in the first season. Reduced supplier base by 70% leading to an over all volume growth of 41% with a final markdown spend of 12% over 1 year.
