About me / About business or organisation:

As a clothing designer with an experience of over 30 years in the industrial fashion business, specialized in outdoor and active sports, I`m more and more moving towards teaching students in clothing design. Concerning sustainable fashion design, I think it is something that you have to consider in the future. It has to be a part of your thinking and hopefully also a method to solve your design tasks.
My aim is to encourage my students to think critically, be curious and make research in whatever designtasks they have, not forgetting their creativity, of course! Luckily most students are more awake today than a few years ago.

Over 30 years as designer in active-sportswear, in several Finnish sportswear companies.
Teaching in leading design universities in Finland and abroad since year 2000>
Clothing designer of the year 2010 in Finland
