Muscat London is a luxury brand with eco sustainability at its core.
We aim to provide customers with good quality products, manufactured responsibly. Muscat London uses a range of organic, eco sustainable and natural fabrics, sourced from ethical and reliable manufacturers. Production is entirely in the UK where personal relationships are built up with the small units manufacturing the clothing.
Within the studio, eco friendly light bulbs, eco friendly cleaning products and recycled stationery are used wherever possible. Cloth is cut and waste handled to maximize efficiency and use of materials and fabrics, in an effort to waste little and recycle as much as possible.
Whilst Muscat London is focused on being as ethical as possible we also recognize the need to continually seek to improve standards in all areas. Non-natural materials are only used when there is no suitable ethical alternative.
Muscat London is committed to creating a high end womenswear business with a common sense approach to sustainability, a commitment to transparency and a belief in business thattreats people, planet and profit with equal importance.
Career history / Company history:
Following a top-flight career in dance, Kevin Muscat turned his creative juices to design. Having always been fascinated by clothes he refined his self-taught skills while working alongside designer Stevie Stewart, famous for the iconic 80’s brand Bodymap, making garments for celebrities including Kylie Minogue, Britney Spears, Cheryl Cole, Leona Lewis and others.
In 2012 Kevin launched his own womenswear label, Muscat London. Passionate about haute couture but with an eye for practicality, he brings a touch of luxury to the everyday. With influences from couture and tailoring, which he studied at Central Saint Martins, Kevin designs for busy metropolitan women who need a refined, flexible wardrobe.
Kevin is also Associate Lecturer at London College of Fashion.
