K2TOG is the luxury knitwear label that takes a ‘waste not, want not’ design approach, implementing a modern twist on traditional crafts, hand producing pieces that rework surplus product into high Fashion.

Founded by Central Saint Martins MA graduate Katie Jones the brand aims to take a fresh approach to ethical Fashion. Having previously worked for John Galliano, Diane Von Furstenberg, Mark Fast and Romance was Born. Working in the industry sparked Katie’s awareness for the amount of unused product prompting her to start K2TOG and use this in a creative way.

K2TOG instills a bit of ‘make do and mend’ attitude into every original upcycled piece, each garment is a labor of love and represents the vision of making something beautiful from nothing.

The debut AW14 collection draws inspiration from traditional Eastern European Folk Art. Making playful reference to the layering, pattern and embroidery of these regions, and adding a dose of traditional British idiosyncrasy. K2TOG’s look is instilled with designer Katie Jones’ bold signature take on colour and pattern, creating a range of dynamic jumpers and patterned leather pieces.

The capsule collection presents 15 bright, bold, colourful pieces, working with collected Aran and Leather garments. The London based studio produces each individually recrafted piece out of over 90% reclaimed materials.
