Potencial distributors for Killa's collection garments and designers who want their collections to be handmade with natural fibers in Peru.
About me / About business or organisation:
I am an entrepreneur and an MBA graduate from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, US and an Economic major graduated from Universidad del Pacifico, the most prestigious university in Peru.
After acquiring corporate experience at enterprises like JP Morgan Chase as an investment banker in New York and at Procter & Gamble and Interbank in Peru, I became an entrepreneur in 2003. Motivated by my international business experience and my willing to make a sustainable project come to reality, I started doing research on the alpaca fiber and its exporting possibilities. This is how Killa was born, with a clear vision, to offer high quality and unique design female garment collections under a sustainable production process and fair trade concepts.
Career history / Company history:
Killa Knits is a Peruvian ethical fashion company that designs, produces and exports high-end female garments under its brand Killa, using the finest natural fibers, alpaca, baby alpaca, silk, organic cotton, and traditional knitting techniques. Our collections carry sweaters, cardigans, dresses, capes, scarves, gloves, among others. Every single piece is elaborated by hand or hand machine which makes them unique. Also, our company functions as sourcing agent for foreign design companies who wants to produce in our country.
We are committed to create innovative designs and to embrace sustainable production processes. We aim at the environment protection and the development of the knitting rural and urban communities in Peru. We strongly believe that hand knitting is a powerful tool to reach economic development for many indigenous people.
