We work with Design and technology teachers and students (including textiles) encouraging them to think about values issues, especially sustainable futures, in their roles as consumers, designers and makers. We are always looking for case studies or examples of sustainable textiles in action, as well as stories relating to unsustainable practice.
Career history / Company history:
I worked as a teacher for 28 years before joining Practical Action 10 years ago. I've been developing and writing resources for teachers ever since. I've been involved in the Sustainable Technology Education Project, the Sustainable Design Award, and produced the Sustainability Handbook for DT teachers.
