Zurita was founded in 2010 in Santiago de Chile by Gabriela Farias Zurita. The, in Berlin, Germany born designer, graduated from the Universidad Católica de Chile, and is based actually in Southamerica from where she is producing a particular local product.
Her designs are contemporary and global but handcrafted in the region in local materials. In 2013 the company introduces the luxury fibre, known as alpaca from the altiplano and also the peruvian organic cotton, in the production.
To explore the antique techniques of knitting from the aymara culture, is the future of this brand, which insures to manufacture a heritable and ethic line of fashion products.
