About me / About business or organisation:

Shakkei stands for subtle design, timeless elegance and aesthetics that originate mainly from Japanese art, enhanced by international influences. We provide women's and men's collections with delicate fabrics and high production standards. Our materials are from organic or sustainable sources and we solely produce in Austria and Germany.

Career history / Company history:

In late 2009 I founded my own label "Shakkei" that I established through the "Moving Showroom" concept, a fashion show at public venues such as the Vienna Museum or the Austrian Embassy in Berlin. Highlights of my career are the collaboration with Eva & Adele for the Art Basel Miami Beach and nominations for the Ringstrassen Galerien Award in 2010 and 2011. In March 2012 I received the "Best Newcomer Award 2012" at the Vienna Awards for Fashion and Lifestyle. In 2011 and 2012 I presented my work at the MQ Vienna Fashion Week, and in January 2013 I debuted at the lavera Showfloor during the Berlin Fashion Week.
