FASHIONY is a specialty multi-brand that provides an eclectic twist on functional fashion through the use of international textiles from emergent markets. The company conducts its business through its website, pop-up stores, and trunk shows. FASHIONY provides editorial coverage of artists, artisans, and designers and offers a percentage of its earnings to nonprofits that incorporate the ideas of education, innovation, and integrity.

Career history / Company history:

FASHIONY launches in Spring, 2015 in the US and UK. I currently serve as a Consultant Curator in the African and Oceanic Art Department of the Seattle Art Museum. Prior to my move to the Pacific Northwest, I served as the Assistant Dean of the School of Art & Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York.
