What inspires me are my origins, my home country and my culture, but also traditional wear and ethnic elements from different cultures around the world. Furthermore, the idea of multiculturalism helps me to use different elements but in the same time to keep the essence of my origins.I love to combine old with new and I believe fashion is an art, as I'm very interested in the "cputure" technique.
Currently I finalized my PhD with a thematic autumn/winter collection. For it I used traditional tailoring techniques with hand made embroidery and craftsmen work. The central theme is the funeral ritual and its symbolism materialized in a modern design, making use of couture techniques.
