TINU SMITH is a Nigerian-based designer .she started her business in 1995 and till date she has stayed relevant in the fashion industry. Her passion is to style and to train. Her fashion standards are distinctive and inimitable especially to her fellow contemporaries in the same field. She is Known for her attention to details, precise and perfect cutting, imaginative thinking and artistic touch, the trendy stylist has kept her designs at parity with modern ones as its required by the ever evolving nature of fashion. She has an exceptional clothing line and also runs a standard fashion school.

Tinu is a certified entrepreneur, she studied entrepreneurial management at the educational development centre,Lagos business school.she also studied fashion and designing at Omega fashion school.
Her academic background in Communication and Religious Studies is portrayed
in her enviable affability with her clients and her love for modesty. she has however inherited an ancestral gift of clothes making from her mother who studied Fashion designing in Paris Academy. This fashion pedigree of hers helped groom her interests and skills right from childhood to her present state. She believes fashion should be classy, eclectic and comfortable which are prominent features of her clothes.

Taking her inspiration from God, nature, colors, textures, objects, patterns and fabric, she has always maintained good relationships with people around her and she has divergent skills in beads making, interior decoration and passionate about youth empowerment. Since the inception of her business she has empowered over 200 young women with fashion and designing skill. She is a remarkable agent of change in her generation.

Datina Designs was commissioned in 1995, our clothing line has carved a niche for itself in the minds of Nigerian fashion lovers till date. We remain one of the top most fashion and clothing centre’s in Nigeria. With our outstanding and competent stylists, our seasoned and classy tailors, we are experts in making trendy, well-tailored and cut-to-fit outfits for all sexes and ages

Our clothing line is indeed a variety of unsurpassed and superlative designs with a creative edge.

Our fashion school is an institution which grooms its students to be outstanding and successful entrepreneurs in the fashion field. Our teaching aids are made available to help students with easy access to knowledge and proper assimilation in making learning much simpler. Our experienced tutors make it a mandate to properly instruct the learners from the point of induction to graduation, through both theoretical and practical approaches. This is why most of our graduates are distinctive contributors to the fashion industry.

Our ultimate goals are to create a fashion house that meets every day fashion needs of all women, locally and internationally; to see the African fabric which is our major medium of expression recognized globally; and to empower the younger generation in fashion and designing through excellent training at our Fashion School.
