"The Advice Sisters®" are credited with bringing the advice/infotainment genre, online 16 years ago, as described in the academic textbook: Marriage and Family Experience: Relationships Changing Society 8th Edition by Bryan Strong, Christine DeVault, Theodore F. Cohen (Thompson-Wadsworth, 2004). My genuine twin sister, Jessica Blackman Freedman (aka. "Advice Sister Jessica"), passed away. Now it's just me, but the name: "Advice Sisters®," is a registered, United States Trademark, and it stuck!

She is also the author of the long-standing, highly respected column: "Ask Alison"- Managing Your Life & Career.

I've also done my share of public speaking, and I've been a featured guest on numerous radio and television shows.
