2nd year

This is a project based on the concept of slow fashion. It draws its inspiration from the third world countries, child laboring and illustrates the corruption of children who have to work. Flowers, children's drawings, books, toys, and all the magical elements in childhood influenced the designs and colours, emphasizing the children's dream.

Using toys as a reference, a jumper reveals how important playing is in a child's life. A teddy bear is used as a motif to represent how tender childhood memories should be. The garments have been made as fine art pieces in order to inspire people to resolve child labour problem that tarnishes the fashion industry.

The garments aim to speak in a loud and clear voice that dreams must not be stolen, that children must be given a chance to dream a little dream.
