Spring/Summer collection 2011

Pieces full of character out of antique flour bags from around 1850
and hand-woven linen, adorned with artistic cross embroidery patterns form the basis of the Summer Collection 2011. Jeans have been recycled and were newly patched together. Especially jackets and coats of a highly feminine line have arisen out of these
materials. These can be combined with short and light dresses that surprise through their asymmetric drapery and foldings at uncommon places. Patinated off-white, washed-out
olive as well as refreshing navy-blue support the wearer’s self-confident femininity and are colours that are particularly starring in this Summer Collection.
Christine Mayer focuses on expressing contrasts with her collections: robust looks, elaborate embroidery and applications, feminine fits and exceptional cuts merge together, forming unique aesthetics which stand for a harmonious, poetic unity.
