About me / About business or organisation:
I love to design, create, use natural fibres, I am a yoga & pilates teacher, I draw & paint when I have time. My passion is the environment & clothing.
I live in Australia in the beautiful sub-tropical area of Byron Bay. A very famous tourist destination and a wellness & health center. We have a lot of international and celeb tourists in our tiny place on the earth.
We love to walk on the pristine beaches before a day in the studio. The air is fresh and the sky is often blue. If your ever in this area come and visit our studio! It's beautiful!
Career history / Company history:
I have worked for 20 years in the clothing industry in Australia. Most of my career was designing for large companies who sold to big Australian & New Zealand department stores. There was no care for the workers or the environment in this industry. It got under my skin! My bosses were great but just not aware of the effects of our destructive industry.
I now have gone my own way with Pure Pod. It is so exciting and a lot of hard slog! But worth it!

    Hi Kelly,

Department store luxury retail in the west midlands has slowed down considerably. I think you may have a better chance with boutiques in really cool towns that have a more" right on" attitude towards shopping ethically. such as shrewsbury cheltenham, bath, bristol, plus commuter towns which feed london - the chiltern valley, oxfordshire etc.. the south has had less of an impact due to the nature of employment / earnings / disposable income. hope this is useful.

    kind regards

    Danny

    Hello there Kelli,
Will send you a swatch if you can send me your postal address. I have not been well and am still in the UK. I should get back to Kathmandu in about ten to fifteen days, but can send the swatches to you straight away. I am sorry for the delay in replying. Just getting a bit better. Take care,
    Udaya
