About me / About business or organisation:
I am a writer and journalist with a particular interest in designing and making bodices, basques and bustiers that capture the essence of beautiful living, using some recycled materials and fabrics including plastics and metals, with references to the Victorian and Gothic past.
Career history / Company history:
I have been a technical author, journalist and writer, and have worked with elephants at Twycross Zoo. Fashion design is a relatively new venture based on my original childhood dream of being an architect, and practical coursework in bridal and couture techniques. I currently work in local government public relations and setting up my own specialist couture business - BodiceBeautiful/Ectos.
