About me / About business or organisation:
I make affordable, fashionable, sometimes sexy, and sometimes quirky clothes made entirely from recycled textiles. I get most of my raw materials from a local textile recycler, and I only use pieces that aren't good enough to be worn or used as they are, basically the rejects that charity shops don't want! I mainly work with more mundane items like old jumpers, sweatshirts, t shirts and shirts, and completely transform them, whilst also using as much of the original functionality of the original garment.

Nov 2008 – Present: Love Me Again, running my own small business revamping and customising damaged clothes, making clothes from donated vintage fabrics, customer alterations and commissions

Hi Tracy - your work looks fantastic! Spearfish looks interesting too, how's it all going? : )

I know what you mean... work keeps bashing on about diversifying revenue streams... how thinly can you spread yourself without losing the original intentions.. I'm teaching, moderating, even sewing gets a look in at some point!! it's going to turn around soon, been lucky enough to get my work into a shop in the bullring for only 25% commission!!! dream!! so try and build on that.

What other exciting things do you get up to then? : )

Hey Tracey.. good ideas on the Barclays competition.. your idea is really innovative - good way of getting people to work for you and offering skills back to them at the same time.. good one for students to get involved in, you could recruit from across the north!

    All the best
    : )
