My name is Allegra Ghiloni and I am currently doing my dissertation about the future of ethical fashion. I am looking for market reports on the sector but the most updated I have found was written in 2010. Does anyone know of a more recently written one and could point me in the right direction?

I'm a 3rd year student at Heriot-Watt and I'm about to start making my collection. (On my course there is 4 years and our main collection is made in 3rd year for some odd reason.) I wanted to make and eco collection and wondered if anyone knew of any student or just general grants out there for eco designers. If it makes any difference I've designed and willl be making the collection myself from pattern to finished product from eco materials. I am looking for funding which will help me towards the costs of fabric and materials, and possibly further marketing and photography. I would like to go on to start my own business once graduating so getting my work recognised at this point, especially for an eco fashion label, would be crucial.

If you have any info can you post it here or send me a message please.

Thanks for all your help!

Hi,

I am on the hunt for fine white organic jersey which won't break the bank. I found some in the states but the shipping is way too much to justify. Ive been looking at Hemp shop in Brighton, cotton biz and hemp fabrics. I brought some from cotton biz but its a bit thick for Tshirts I think....

Any ideas as to where I could try? Or does any one have any?

Thanks
