I am tackling this mammoth of a book..its reasonable in size but quite
academic in its context...but so so educational. I am reading it as part
of my masters degree but am finding the background information on
secondhand clothing industry is very very interesting.

The impact that our clothing consumption has on Africa in particular and how the charities who work with SHC has at times taken advantage.....you could say.

It looks in an anthropological context, an historical concept as well as referring to various literary writers and their past work and studies.

If you are interested i the SHC industry, just in African fashion or the
movement of clothing fro past to present then i encourage you to get
hold of it.
