United Nations - Looking for a consultant on sustainable fashion and biodiversity

The BioTrade Initiative of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) is developing an initiative to bring together the key actors in the high-end fashion industry in a common platform to promote intra-industry collaboration to further the knowledge and understanding of the linkages between the industry and biodiversity. The platform aims to contribute to ongoing international efforts at creating more effective engagement of private sector to tackle the loss of biodiversity and build awareness and educate on its importance.

We are looking for a consultant to research and provide inputs for an initial paper to be published as part of this initiative. Please find the announcement and applications instructions attached. Please note that the deadline for applications is 31 May 2010.
