Recycled Cotton

I was recently introduced to the process used to recycle cotton fabrics and offcuts. Unfortunately I haven't yet been able to locate a supplier of this fabric near home Australia/South East Asia/India.
I was wondering if anyone is familiar with this process and whether they know of any suppliers in my vicinity.
Any information anyone might have would be extremely helpful!
